Oleg. I want you to organize the first ever FoodSpotting EatUp at your food truck. It will be historic, and it will drive your business through the roof over the coming months. I promise to come. February 15. Get in touch with the FoodSpotting people and make it happen.

Hey Paramendra,

That is a great idea! I'm definitely going to get in touch with them.
I am close friends with Amy Chow who recently joined their team and
I'm sure she could help me with this. Unfortunately this coming
Tuesday we have a private event but I think March 15th would
definitely work. Plus it would give us some more time to advertise it
and bring a lot of attention to it. I may even do a special
foodspotting discount for the EatUp. Really appreciate the advice!
This is an awesome idea:) you're the man!

Are you telling me your food truck is not going to be on the street on
February 15? You don't have to do anything extra. About 10 people will
show up. You serve them food like to everyone else. You take the
payment like from anyone else. And that is it. There is nothing to
organize here. No need for discounts. Save them for March 15.

If evening is looking complicated, make it a lunch time thing. I
promise to be there. And I am sure they can get at least 10 people on
their own. Noon sharp!

Cool. I just sent an email to Amy about doing the EatUp on Tuesday for
lunch. Will give you an update once she gets back to me

I'd love to be there. Great!

It might be small, but it will be historic. You get to brag forever
this is where it all started. What if a year from now it is the
biggest MeetUp in the world? All sorts of newspapers are going to want
to talk to you. Are you telling me this is where it all started? Free
marketing.

So what do you suggest I order on Tuesday for lunch?
Where are you located?
:-)

On Tuesday we will be parked on 46th st between 5th & 6th avenue. I'd
recommend you go with a chicken schnitzel platter with a side of
Austrian potato salad, the roasted beets with feta cheese and the
chipotle sour cream. That is if you want a platter. If you want a
sandwich I'd go with the chicken sandwich with chipotle sour cream or
the sriracha mayo as your condiment. Either way it's delicious :) I
might not be at the truck because there is much work to be done at the
restaurant. My brother Gene works the window so you'll get to meet
him, I'll definitely let him know you are coming. Your lunch will be
on the house! I definitely appreciate your excitement and input!

"Your lunch will be on the house!"

Thanks. :-) I will blog about the experience.

But first make the EatUp happen. Go relentless on Amy! :-) All they
have to do is get 10 people.

Paramendra Hey!

So I've been in touch with Amy all day, and she is excited about helping us out.  She told me that you emailed her about this as well ;-).  I've created a foodspotting guide which I want you to check out, and I will put it on our blog with the schedule.  I'm going to write that we'd like to have monthly EatUps beginning at the truck and then also at the store.  We think it's a great idea and want to thank you for providing it to us :)))  Here check out the guide http://www.foodspotting.com/guides/1557-schnitzel---things

So we're going to schedule it for Tuesday at 12:00.  The weather should be really nice as well so its going to be a great time to do it

Best,

Oleg

Really curious to see who is coming to this meetup and the power of an EatUp...I'll be there!

I believe it is 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. If enough people show up, I am going to be there the entire time (and more, as necessary). For me it is more about social, and less about food, but then I have always been a fan of street food. Street food makes you street smart.

Look for me.
