They also tried to hijack my Google account and my Facebook account. But they failed. I guess I had not turned on two factor authentication on my Twitter account.
A few weeks ago my Google hosted blog was at the receiving end of a Zero Day Attack. That was patched within days. That felt fairly sophisticated. So does this one. There are plenty of "private sector" (if organized crime can be called private sector ...... non state) actors with monetary motives that are active. You can find exposes on YouTube. Entire buildings full of people attempting cyber crimes all day long. But state actors are also active. In these charged times with major wars raging, one can not discount that.
In the meantime I urge Twitter to please restore my Twitter account. Maybe Robert Scoble will help. Or Nikita Bier. He is an insider. :)
