Solara: I Coined The Term

Unicorns are not rare anymore. But they were rare when the term was coined, and hence the name. Solara is the new unicorn. A trillion dollar company. My projection is there will be as many Solaras in 10 years as there are unicorns today. People are today vastly underestimating the impact of agentic commerce. The whole internet needs to be rearchitected for agentic commerce.

The idea is not to eat into market shares of current markets. The idea is to reimagine the existing markets, and more importanlty, vastly imagine new markets. Enter new territories of imagination.

Enter the Grand Solara Vision. It is like an Apollo Mission. You know where you are going. Far. And you have as precise a roadmap as possible at the starting point. And you update it every year. The roadmap is for 10 years.

A lot of Solara projects are going to be capital intensive. Mine is. This is not Paul Graham's Ramen noodle project. I have enormous respect for Graham. But Y Combinator is primary school.

Himalayan Compute is a Born A Unicorn company. It has to be. Asking why do you need a hundred million dollars is like asking, why do you need rocket fuel? First get into a car, then switch to an airplane, and then, if the need arises, hop into a rocket. No. You start with the rocket.

Or you don't do it. You go do something else.

Multi-Disciplinary, Multi-Continental, Multi-Year

The idea is to generate 50,000 MW of hydroelectricity in Nepal at record speed. I can't imagine doing this without my cousin having become Prime Minister of Nepal. He is the most promising political figure to have emerged in my lifetime in Nepal. I can't imagine doing this without access to the Sovereign Wealth Fund of the UAE. There can't be an upper limit to how much capital you can access.

I have been on the cutting edges of large scale group dynamics. In April 2006, in Nepal, over a period of 19 days, about eight million people out of the country's 27 million came out into the streets to shut the country down completely to force a dictator out. My methods were 100% digital. German Radio called me Robin Hood On The Internet. 🦋🦋👆👇

This will give Nepal triple digit growth rates for several years. China did 13% one year. That was peak.
