Internet Week: Going To Three Events So Far
Digital Dumbo: Here I Come
July 1 Digital Dumbo: Do Not Miss
I tried and failed to get on any Internet Week panel. But something better might happen. I just saw this in my Facebook stream, and jumped at the opportunity. I am applying for my five minutes at Ignite NYC during Internet Week. Tikva, make it happen, please.
Ignite NYC XII, Internet Week — Call for Speakers

Image by avianto via Flickrto talk about. Some suggestions:
- DON'T submit a product demo,
- DO submit a how-to,
- DO submit something you are passionate about. It doesn't have to be work-related. It could be something you are curious about!
- DO submit something inspirational or sublime or absurd, complete with lessons learned.
Each speaker will get 20 slides that auto-advance after 15 seconds for a total of five-minutes.

APPLICATIONS DUE BY MIDNIGHT ON MAY 13TH (earlier is better as selection is a rolling process).
Title of Talk
How To Organize Revolutions In Third World Countries
Description of Talk
Believe it or not, I am the top authority on the topic on the planet. The first major revolution of the 21st century happened in Nepal: April 2006. It has not happened better anywhere else. And I am the only Nepali in America who worked full time for it. I know this thing inside out. And I have blogged about it. Go dig my archives.
