Twitter Trends 2010

NYC signing September 1,2009 Nintendo Store - NYCImage via WikipediaTop 10 Twitter Trends of 2010
1. Gulf Oil Spill
2. FIFA World Cup
3. Inception
4. Haiti Earthquake
5. Vuvuzela
6. Apple iPad
7. Google Android
8. Justin Bieber
9. Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows
10. Pulpo Paul

The top two are not at all surprising. I am surprised though that a Leonardo DiCaprio movie beat Haiti Earthquake. Vuvuzela needed to be lumped with the World Cup to give World Cup the top spot.

The iPad is doing amazingly well. The second coming of Steve Jobs has been astounding. Whoever fired this guy back in 1984?

Who is Pulpo Paul?

Isn't Justin Bieber that guy who, when he tweets "Good Night Girls," like a million girls tweet back saying good night?

Wait, I found out, Pulpo Paul is Paul the Octopus. That also needs to be lumped in with the World Cup. World Cup needs to be at the top of this list. It is a scam to put World Cup, Vuvuzela and Paul in three separate categories.

The most popular post at this blog this year by a wide margin has been this one: Brazil.

World Cup: Spain Deserved To Win
Spain: The Octopus Was Right, I Was Wrong
Argentina Was Not A Team
